Prof. Dr. Lars Libuda, nutrition scientist at Paderborn University, has been appointed as a member of the Commission on Evidence-Based Methods in Risk Assessment at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in Berlin.
Autonomous driving, connected mobility, increasing electrification: the automotive industry is undergoing change. This makes it all the more important to support companies in integrating digital services into their business models and exploiting the innovation potential of digital business processes. For three years, a consortium of scientists and industry experts has been working on developing solutions for the mobility sector.

35 million euros, 210 scientists, 12 years of research: After the maximum possible duration of three funding periods, the Collaborative Research Centre/TRR 142 "Tailor-made Nonlinear Photonics: From Basic Concepts to Functional Structures" officially ended in December 2025.
The Presidential Board of Paderborn University is once again calling for proposals for doctoral scholarships, for which excellent academics in the early career phase can apply until 2 February.
